Meet Carmela

Hello! I am the creator of Bellissimamma, a blog for beautiful moms and wives. It is my passion to inspire women to look and feel their best every day, travel to beautiful places, and enjoy their marriage and motherhood to the fullest.

Before I became a work-at-home mother and blogger, I was a professional elementary and early childhood teacher for ten years. I have a Bachelor’s Degree in Teaching Early Grades and a graduate diploma in Language and Literacy Development.

When my family moved to Italy last year, I decided to take a break from my teaching career to stay home with my two children. Teaching has always been my passion, and I consider it my greatest privilege to be my kids’ first teacher.

My Family

My husband is my best friend and we have known each other since college. We have been married for five years now. Our two boys, Leon and Lucas, are our pride and joy.  We live in Siena, a city in Tuscany, Italy.

My Blogging Journey

Before I hosted my own website, I started blogging using a free WordPress account. People started reaching out to me saying that they were very inspired after reading some of my blog posts. That was when I decided that I want to blog full-time. So, after a couple of months, I decided to go the extra mile and founded If you are a blogger looking for web-hosting, I recommend Siteground. They have fantastic service and affordable options for the new blogger.
