Do you want to stay fab, fit and strong but can’t afford a personal trainer? As a work at home mom, I exercise at home or outdoors instead of going to the gym. Let’s face it: we need to be frugal!

Before I had Leon and Lucas, my husband and I would work out at home using the Jillian Michaels DVD (I know, lol!). We personally love her workouts because they focus on strength and agility.

Right now, I am doing the Beginner Bounce Back Baby Program. The workout is about 20 minutes long, six days a week. It is non-intimidating, easy to follow and fun to do. I just use an exercise mat and a foam roller for stretches. My favorite part is the cooldown because it shows you how to stretch properly. Stretching relaxes my body and soothes my aching muscles. Oh, and the program also comes with a meal plan. The recipes look healthy and delicious- definitely not boring (i.e. baked pita chips and guacamole, South American salmon…yum)!

  2. I stay fab and fit by eating food that makes my body feel amazing and walking. I love going for a walk after a long day. In the past I have also used My Fitness App. I find the need for the app once the snow hits the ground 🙂
