Inang’s Collection Nursing Wear Review

Clothes For Breastfeeding Moms

Ciao bella! Breastfeeding mom ka ba? Are you looking for stylish and affordable nursing tops and dresses? Nakita mo ba online ang Inang’s Maternity and Nursing Wear pero di ka pa sure kung worth it bang bumili ng clothes specifically for breastfeeding? Well, read on.

Inang’s Collection

First of all, hindi ito sponsored post. OMG.).

Benefits of Wearing Nursing Clothes

So, why is it a good idea to buy nursing clothes? For me, pag lumalabas kami ng family ko, I really nurse in public. In the Philippines, the weather is really humid. My baby doesn’t really like to be covered (unless malakas enough ‘yung A/C and hindi siya naiinitan). Inang’s tops and dresses are designed in such a way that you can nurse your baby na hindi ka ma-eexpose. So kahit walang nursing cover, in my experience, kaya na. If you prefer naman na may cover, meron ring nursing covers si Inang. Cute rin designs, mine was blue with mga balloons ganon. Ideal na you wear a nursing bra underneath if you’re namamasyal sa labas. So for me, it’s really convenient to wear nursing clothes.

I’m a size large. Petite lang rin ako, a little more than 5 feet tall.

Nursing Wear
I’m the one on the left. I attended my sister’s graduation. I’m wearing a maroon off-shoulder dress…because UP. I also wore a maroon headband. #wearyourschoolcolors
Nursing Wear (Inang's Collection)
Two months old dito si baby, I’m wearing a dress.
Nursing Wear (Inang's Collection)
Three months na si baby dito. I like the print of the dress, it reminds me of Kate Spade. I’m also wearing Fitflops. Para comfy.
Nursing Wear (Inang's Collection)
Burger night at WenM Cafe. I just paired my Inang’s nursing top with blue leggings from Cotton On and white Nike canvas slip ons.
Nursing Wear (Inang's Collection)
Bon Vogage party. I’m wearing a purple ribbed nursing dress then I put a silk floral skirt over it.
Nursing Wear (Inang's Collection)
Tuscany, Italy. Autumn yung weather so I paired my Inang’s top with a white blazer, drawstring jeans from Giordano and ankle boots from BCBG. Five months na si baby dito.

Thanks for viewing my photos!

Super nice rin ng mga owners, they will answer your questions and help you with the ordering process. I bought na in bulk using the Shopee app para cash on delivery.

What To Do At Manila Ocean Park

My Family’s Trip to Manila Ocean Park

Are you thinking of going to the Manila Ocean Park with little kids? Keep reading to know my family’s experience when we went there in 2017.

Manila Ocean Park

My husband and I have always thought of bringing our kids to Manila Ocean Park. My toddler is already interested in animals and sea creatures. However, we postponed and rescheduled this trip so many times over. It’s been a crazy week for me and my husband due to the fact that our Yaya is on an extended vacation. So when my dad said he’d love to help us take care of the kids, we said yes, let’s finally do it. Let’s go see the sea animals this Saturday!

Why We Chose The Deep Sea Rush Package

We decided to buy the Deep Sea Rush package (Php 590) since we wanted to make our trip short but sweet. It included the following 6 attractions:

Oceanarium
Back of the House
Jellies Exhibit
Sea Lion Show
Sharks and Rays Dry Encounter
Symphony Evening Show

What We Brought With Us

  1. Stroller
  2. Ergobaby carrier
  3. Breastfeeding cover
  4. Diaper Bag

Entering the Park

We got there at 2:00 in the afternoon. We easily found a parking spot because their parking area was pretty huge. When we got to the entrance, I noticed that there were plenty of large cooling fans with mist, which reminded me of the ones they had at Disneyworld Orlando. It was a pretty hot July day, and those fans sure brought me a lot of relief from the heat. The facility is pretty much PWD-friendly, so I was really glad that there was a ramp leading to the entrance- which made carrying a stroller easier for us.

We paid for our tickets at the counter, and the staff honored my dad’s senior discount. My toddler paid full price since he’s over two feet tall. My 2- month- old got in for free.

The Attractions

Oceanarium

First, we went to the Oceanarium. They had plenty of different kinds of fish imported from other countries. Of course, my kid’s favorites were Nemo, Dory, Seastar, and Seahorse. He got a little bit scared when he saw the manta rays and the sharks, but he soon got over his fear.

When my baby started to get hungry, I was even able to nurse him while I was walking through the underwater exhibit! I used my Inangscollection nursing cover.

It was almost 3:00 when we finished going through the exhibit. We took the stairs to the second floor to get to the next attraction. My husband folded the stroller and my dad carried my kid. When we got to the top, I realized that there was actually an elevator for PWDs and strollers. Anyway, we thought we had time to catch the 3:00 Sea Lion show but we decided to just go to the 5:00 one since the stadium was pretty far from where we were. We just took a snack break at one of the kiosks. We bought a nacho combo meal for Php 70 (nachos + soda), a Nestle Drumstick, and a Gatorade.

Moving Rides

My toddler went on three moving rides which cost Php10 a token. The Pelican and the Police Car were among those rides that were working.

Exhibits We Did Not Go To

We decided to skip the Back of the House exhibit because my husband said that there really was not anything to see back there.

We continued walking after we had our snack break and went past the Trails of Antarctica (penguin exhibit + Christmas village) and the Yexel Toy Museum, which were not included in our ticket. My toddler loves the Minions, so we took a photo in front of the “Ba-bas”.

Jellies Exhibit

Next stop was the Jellies Exhibit, which was basically a dark room with mirrors and huge tanks and pillars of lighted jellyfish. The overall effect was very pretty. I did get a little dizzy probably because of the dark and also because there was not enough air conditioning or ventilation inside. Still, I managed to nurse my baby for the second time while I was walking through the exhibit. Can’t even imagine how I did that but I did!

Sharks and Rays Dry Encounter

At 3:30, we went outside to the front of the complex to see the Sharks and Rays Dry Encounter. There you can get a chance to touch the sharks and the rays. There were trained staff to assist anyone who wanted to do that. We did not touch the fish but we were able to see a shark up close, which was pretty cool.

Jellies Exhibit

Bathroom Break

At 4:00, I was already feeling very hot and tired. I took a bathroom break in one of the public bathrooms near North Park. It had tissue paper, which was great, but there was no soap at the sink. Good thing I brought some hand sanitizer!

Merienda Time

We had merienda at the North Park because it had seats and airconditioning. The food and service were “meh”. No reason to come back.

Souvenir Toy Bucket

My husband and toddler went to the bathroom for a diaper change and came back carrying a souvenir toy bucket filled with plastic sea creatures. It was a good deal for Php 210. I like that it’s educational and relatively cheap.

Sea Lion Show

Finally, at 5:00, we went to the stadium to see the Sea Lion Show. It was cute and entertaining for the most part. The sea lions and the seals (yes, there’s a difference) performed adorable tricks such as clapping, waving, and synchronized jumping. At around 5:30, my toddler was already becoming restless so we decided that it was time to call it a day. We did not get to see the Symphony Evening Show because it was getting late and it was already starting to rain. The adults were also feeling very exhausted already.

My Rating

Overall, I would give this trip a 4 out of 5. It was a fun afternoon and it was worth the trip. Word of advice: a half day with very little kids is enough.

How about you? Have you brought your children to Manila Ocean Park? How was your experience like?

3 Online Stores in the Philippines That Sell Clothes for Breastfeeding Moms

Back when I was living in the U.S., I would go to Motherhood Maternity to buy clothes exclusively for the purpose of breastfeeding. For those of you who are familiar with nursing clothes, we know that they come specially equipped with two holes underneath a layer of cloth so our babies can get access to our boobies. When I left the U.S. to live in the Philippines, I gave all my maternity and nursing clothes away, thinking that I will not have another baby soon. Well, I did not expect that God would bless us with another amazing child right away, so now I have another excuse to go shopping for another set of nursing clothes for my L.O.

I was a little disappointed to find out that there weren’t a lot of stores that carry nursing wear in Manila. I’ve tried looking in the malls but I could not find any store that carries actual clothes for breastfeeding mommas. Sure, there are plenty of maternity clothes available in department stores, but no nursing wear. Maybe I’ve been looking in the wrong places, so please enlighten me if you have info on where to get nursing clothes in a physical store.

Luckily I did some online shopping through Facebook, IG and the Shopee app and was able to score some beautiful finds from loving_diana, debrie&co, and inangscollectionph. The sellers are very nice and accommodating, and the clothes are budget-friendly!
