Mary Kay Gel Semi-Matte Lipsticks Swatches (Video)

Are You A Fan of Matte Lipsticks?

Do you like the look of matte lipsticks but you’re worried they can make your lips look dry? I love matte lipsticks but I must admit that they are super drying. My friend and beauty vlogger Chuchay told me about this great new product from Mary Kay! As we all know, Mary Kay has been around for a very long time! I really like Mary Kay’s Pore Mattifier!

Mary Kay Gel Semi-Matte Lipsticks

First of all, let’s talk about what makes Mary Kay Gel Semi-Matte Lipsticks really awesome. According to the Mary Kay website, these semi-matte lipsticks deliver lasting wear without drying the lips. They have highly pigmented shades that deliver stay-true color. The gel formula cushions lips for soft, velvety comfort!

Next, let’s talk about the available shades. The lipstick shades include Mauve Moment, Always Apricot, Rich Truffle, Powerful Pink, Poppy Please, Midnight Red, and Crushed Berry.

Now, let’s check out this video! Beauty Vlogger Chuchay will show us the different lipstick swatches of the Mary Kay Gel Semi-Matte Lipsticks.

Did you find a shade you really like? Let me know in the comments section!

April Skin Magic Stone Review

What Is April Skin Magic Stone?

First of all, I’d like to share with you my quest to write reviews on products that I have already used up. It gives me so much joy to completely use up a product! My “January Empty (2018)” is the April Skin Magic Stone, a Korean-made soap that claims to be non-irritating, eco-friendly, and applicable for all skin types.

April Skin Magic Stone Soap

Where Can You Buy April Skin Magic Stone?

I bought this soap at Watson’s Philippines five months ago but I was only able to use it last month. They were having a Korean products sale at that time and I was very intrigued by the name of the soap. As a nursing mom, I was also looking for safer and unscented beauty products. (You can also purchase this soap from Amazon. Check out my affiliate link at the end of this post.)

So I used it almost every day since December 2017, so it would be safe to say that this soap lasted for a little more than a month. I used it as a face and body soap.

My thoughts on April Skin Magic Stone:

1. First, let’s talk about its scent. I really like products that have a mild/ non-existent smell. It has a very neutral smell which I like because it does not mix with the other scents that I put on my body (e.g. lotion/ perfume).

2. Next, it gives my skin a squeaky-clean feeling, but it is non-drying as well.

3. Furthermore, it melts easily so keep it in a dry container. The directions also say to cut it into 4 pieces to save more of the product.

4. However, it is very expensive for a piece of soap (Php 400)! I might not repurchase it because of its price. If I go to Korea, I will definitely repurchase. This is available on Amazon U.K.

April Skin Magic Stone Black’s Ingredients:

Finally, here are the ingredients found on the label. Read carefully! Coconut oil, palm oil, olive oil, castor oil, camellia oil, rice bran oil, shea butter, pure water, sodium hydroxide, liquid sulfur, kelp extract, pearl powder, charcoal powder, hyaluronic acid, muscovite powder, luquid effective microorganisms, oriental medicine complex, lavender E.O, Lemon E.O

I hope you found this review helpful!

How to Create the Cinderella/ Cleaning Lady Look

No Time To Put On Makeup?

Are you feeling stressed out lately? Have you forgotten to take care of yourself? Do you need some me-time to put on makeup and feel pretty again?

An Overwhelmed Mom

I am a stay at home mom to two wonderful little boys, Leon and Lucas. However, taking care of kids is not an easy task. Today, I was feeling overwhelmed with all the things I need to get done. Breastfeeding, potty training, washing the dishes, cleaning the house, cooking meals, doing the laundry, the list goes on. I was feeling bland so I decided to take a break and add some color to my life! After doing this I felt energized so much happier!

The Cinderella Cleaning Lady Look

This look took me 5 minutes. I call it The Cinderella Cleaning Lady Look 😂. Well, I think I still look more like a cleaning lady but I was wearing a Disney Cinderella shirt if you haven’t noticed. Maybe in the evening, I might get a chance to go to the ball (while Prince Charming takes care of the kids)!

Products I used:

Eyebrows: 100% Pure Castor Oil (Brows), K-Palette Long Lasting 3way Eyebrow Pencil, The Face Shop Concealer Dual Veil (To highlight brows and conceal eyebags)

Eyes:  Kiko Milano Candy Split Eyeshadow (04), Blingsome eyeliner (Korean brand), Maybelline Falsies mascara

Face: Cos RX Make Me Lovely Cushion (Face), Maybelline Baby Skin Pore Eraser, The Face Shop Oil Clear Blotting Pact

Cheeks: The Face Shop Coral Cushion

Lips: Kiko Milano lip liner, Clinique gloss

The headband I am wearing is from Korea. I also got my Cinderella Princess shirt (on sale) from OVS Siena!

Keep reaching your goals, ladies!
