1. Tell us a bit about yourself and your family.
My family and I are originally from New York but moved by the army to Spokane Washington. We’re a working family so my husband is in the army and I am a full-time teacher, blogger and mama. I’m studying to be a Yoga for Trauma teacher. I love the beach.
2. Please tell us about your blog, Teach Workout Love.
My blog I have kind of turned into a guest posting community focusing on busy moms and military spouses. I chose these because every mom is busy and there are military moms just like me who are always looking for new friends.
3. As a military spouse, what challenges have you faced as a family and how did you overcome them?
Moving and uprooting and moving and uprooting. Moving takes a toll on you and your whole family. Having to readjust to a completely new location, find a new job, make new friends, learn new roads and locations, find a new home, find a new school. It totally sucks. But we have to do it, so we do it. I guess I am strong-willed, so I just get through it and keep the family pushing forward.
4. What parenting/ marriage tips and advice can you give to milspouses?
Know what you are getting into. Do some research. Learn about the milspouse life and see if that is something you want. If it’s not and you go into the role, resentment can cause serious issues in the relationship.
5. How can we connect with you?
