Are you looking for a mild and gentle cleansing wash for your baby or toddler? Read my honest and unbiased review of Aveeno Baby Cleansing Therapy Moisturizing Wash.
Why Unscented and Mild Baby Products Are A Must
My toddler is allergic to peanuts, eggs, cotton fluff and dog/cat fur. Leon’s allergy doctor told me that he should bathe with unscented bath products. This includes shampoo, baby wash, and soap. Also, we should not use scented fabric conditioner for our laundry. Perfume is not allowed either. She recommended Dove soap or Perla. I used Dove soap on him and he did not develop any reactions towards it. He smelled good even after a whole day of playing. However, I wanted to use something else that’s specifically made for babies. Since I also have a one-month-old baby, I wanted to use a product that both Leon and Lucas can use.
Aveeno Baby Cleansing Therapy Moisturizing Wash
I decided to try the Aveeno Baby Cleansing Therapy Moisturizing Wash by Johnson & Johnson. It cost Php 300+ for 236ml (8 fl. oz). A little goes a long way! The consistency is creamy, and you only need to use one to two squirts to clean the entire face and body. I use it on my children’s hair. It is also very moisturizing, so I did not need to put lotion on my toddler’s skin. I also use this on my one-month-old baby, and it is gentle enough on his delicate skin.
