Palmer’s Massage Cream for Stretchmarks and Skin Therapy Oil Review

Did you get any stretch marks during and after pregnancy? For my first pregnancy, I used Palmer’s Massage Cream. I was so diligent in using Palmer’s every night, and I swear I did not get a single stretch mark on my tummy.

However, on my second pregnancy, I was not as consistent in keeping up with this beauty routine. I ended up with stretch marks on the sides of my tummy (a.k.a. love handles). So now I’m using it post-pregnancy to help reduce them ( I know they won’t be gone 100% and that’s okay #tigerstripes). The cocoa variant smells a little bit like Yakult (the Japanese yogurt milk drink) and so I was excited to try out their Skin Therapy rosehip oil version. I personally love the rosehip oil variant because of its scent. It also does not feel sticky and it gets absorbed by the skin right away (perfect for the humid weather in the Philippines).

Which products did you use to help reduce stretch marks? Have you tried other brands like Mustela and Bio Oil? Share in the comments below!

Scripture Swaddles: LukieBear Baby

I just received a beautiful present from a very good friend, and it’s called the LukieBear Baby Scripture Swaddle. I am a fan of muslin cloth for babies because it’s made of 100% cotton. My one-month-old loves to be swaddled, and this was the perfect welcome gift for him. I like the texture and the softness of the fabric and the size is just right to make a perfect swaddle.

He doesn’t seem to be very happy in this picture but I swear he was in a better mood after being swaddled:

Check out the LukieBear Baby Essentials IG. I love that they put beautiful Bible verses on their blankets. Children, after all, are a gift from the Lord.

A Chocolate Drink for Breastfeeding Moms

I am a fan of anything chocolate 🍫, and to my delight, I discovered a choco drink specially made for breastfeeding moms! It’s called Mother Nurture 7 in 1 Choco Mix. I bought it from inangscollectionph, an online seller from Shopee. It costs Php 140 for 8 sachets. It’s got Stevia (a healthy substitute for sugar), malunggay (milk supply booster), gotu kola (strengthens memory), and ashitaba (anti-oxidant).

Pros:

💟 It’s semi-sweet, which I like.

💟 The powder dissolves easily, hence the smooth texture.

💟 If all claims are true, then it’s healthy for me and my baby.

I’ve also tried Mother Nurture 7-in-1 Coffee! I love that product. *I actually preferred the coffee variant.
